The Indian Police Foundation & Institute has been trying to make a difference in grassroots level policing and governance by working with the Indian Police to bring about positive, transformational changes in policing. One of our most urgent priorities is to work on internal police reforms, to improve the quality of police service delivery to citizens. We are working in important areas like women's safety, protection of children from sexual assaults and abuse, countering human trafficking, improving the living and working conditions as well as physical and mental health of police personnel.
We request our citizens, business community and corporates to make a financial contribution to support our efforts. Your contribution can make a big difference. Please note that we accept donations from Indian citizens / Indian Companies and in Indian Rupees only.
As the Police Foundation and Institute is registered as a Charitable Society under Sections 12 A and 80 G of the Income Tax Act, 50% of all donations / contributions made to the Police Foundation and Institute is eligible for exemption of income tax.

We value and take your donation seriously and are committed to utilizing every rupee that you donate diligently and transparently, towards realizing the mission of the Police Foundation and Institute. Your donation will help build the much needed research and training capability and infrastructure required for driving this enormous and ambitious project.
ABOUT OUR FINANCES
NO FOREIGN FUNDING: Right in its early stages, the IPF Board has taken a conscious decision not to accept any donations from foreign sources. We do not accept cash donations either.
Our primary source of funding is the personal contributions of members of the Police Foundation & Institute and individual well-wishers. The office bearers of the Foundation do not accept any remuneration.
The seminars and conferences organised by the IPF are done in partnership with State / Central Police organisations, or with the sponsorship from Central Government organisations / PSUs and other sponsors. We accept sponsorship of our events from Indian partners where there are no conflicts of interest and strictly based on Indian sources of funding. We do not accept donations, event sponsorship etc from foreign-funded organisations.
IPF finances are audited every year by a well-respected audit firm. The Foundation is governed by an eminent Board of Trustees and has strict governance procedures in place. It follows all financial and legal compliances as per the law of the land and has filed the tax and other returns up to date, every year. IPF office bearers do not accept any remunerations for their services.
